In response to popular demand, infinEd is pleased to announce the Grounded Theory Student Webinar Series. Designed for graduate students using grounded theory, this series of webinars presents an accessible overview of grounded theory methods and processes. Students using other qualitative methodologies, as well as supervisors of grounded theory students, will also find this webinar series a valuable professional development opportunity.

Webinar Presenters
Melanie Birks
Melanie Birks has over 30 years’ experience as an academic. Her extensive contribution to research and education is reflected in over 130 publications, including 10 textbooks. Melanie has led numerous research teams using a broad range of methodologies that resulted in impactful outcomes. Her work with Jane Mills produced a number of research texts including three editions of Grounded theory: A practical guide.
Jane Mills
Jane is an experienced academic with extensive expertise in qualitative methodologies. Jane has published expansively in this area, particularly in respect of grounded theory. She has been collaborating with Melanie on numerous projects for more than 15 years. Jane’s contribution to the research knowledge base has served to guide students and novice researchers in their own work.
